| As an artist, I love to
create. When someone gave me this dollhouse, the first thing
that came to my mind was, "Why not do a haunted house theme with
it?"
So...I thought I would share my haunted dollhouse project with everyone as I work on it from start to finish. I'm hoping to have it finished in time to display for Hallowe'en. Below are photos from the beginning of the project. I'll share more photos as the project progresses. |

| This is the dollhouse after it's been painted. I intentionally gave it a "washed" streaky look, in order to make it look more rundown and spooky. The paint looks a bit more blue than it really is. The true color is a more gothicky purple. The dollhouse was a sky blue color prior to starting (stairs). You can see where I've been working on putting shingles on the roof, too. |

| Here are a couple of close up shots to show some of the trim detail. This will be painted black, as will the window frames, shingles, and balcony. Both photos show the same area of the house, one showing the upper area, the other showing the area below. |

| This is the interior of the house. I had to laugh when I saw the small "orb" just under the third story floor on the right. I'm sure it's just dust, but I thought it was kind of appropriate to have an orb in an abandoned haunted house. |
